I think the countdown is officially under three weeks until move in day.

I’m not going to lie to you, the handful of people who will be reading this, I’m a bit scared…in a good way…? 

Well I got my roommate! Like a week ago, Delaware sent out an email with the name of our hall, the room number, and our roommates. So right away, I went to every Facebook group that had anything to do with UD to see if I could find him and…he was nowhere to be found. Great. Just my luck. So then I just searched him on Facebook and I found a profile of a kid who could be around 18 years old. I decided to wait until the rooming assignments were posted on the website (maybe he didn’t get the email?). After a few days of nothing, I just decided to request the kid I found and sure enough it was him. We’ve been messaging back and forth since then. He’s a quiet guy from what I gather but he’s nice so I’m not complaining. And he lives 15 minutes away from school so that’ll be nice if he’s ever feeling hospitable and wants to share a home cooked meal.

Oh and if any Delawarians have been reading this, I apologize for saying “UDel” now I know it has always been and always will be UD.
